Did you know we offer a ‘lack of vehicle crossover consent’ policy?
[08/01/2024]
Our policy can help when a residential property benefits from an existing ‘vehicle crossover’ – or a dropped kerb – which has been constructed without formal consent from the local authority.
It covers buyers and their lenders against the cost of defending and complying with enforcement action by the local authority, and any reduction in market value of the property, if use of the kerb is subsequently prohibited. The policy can also be combined with lack of planning cover where planning consent should also have been obtained for the dropped kerb.
Premiums start at £96, and you can find more information on our products page. under both the ‘Access’ and ‘Planning’ headings.
