Lights, camera, flour!
Ever wondered how our underwriters feel to be the stars of our advertising? Here’s a peek behind the scenes of our latest photoshoots.
You might have seen our recent advertising comparing photos of our underwriters in their younger years with how they look today. The adverts have proved popular, and so we decided to put a new spin on them and feature a light-hearted contrast between our underwriters’ talents and their hobbies. But how do the ‘models’ feel about stepping into the spotlight?
Legal indemnity fame
“I have a habit of singing to my colleagues,” Laura admitted to us, which explains why she was belting out a Spice Girls hit into a hairbrush for the camera. And John is something of a baker, but worried his efforts might be a little harder to spot. “There was so much flour in the air, I could hardly see what I was doing.”
But once the flour had settled, everyone was delighted with the results. Both underwriters enjoyed the experience, although Laura seemed more taken with the photographer’s dog than with anything else.
Back to reality
The next day, it was back to underwriting. But was all the glitz and glamour enough to make them consider a career change? “I’ll stick to underwriting,” Laura told us, and John agrees. “I was removing flour from my hair, ears, clothes and shoes for quite some time afterwards!”
When you contact them with an enquiry, we can’t guarantee that Laura will treat you to a Spice Girls medley, or that John will offer any baking tips. But you can be sure you’ll always receive a quick quote; after all, it’s what they’re good at.
