We’ve made a change to the way we calculate premiums for our Access indemnities which means it’s now ‘all for one and one for all’.

Traditionally, we’ve charged a slightly lower rate for our Access cover where a statutory declaration is available, compared to when one isn’t provided.

Now however, to make things easier, we’ll offer the same low rate for our Access indemnity whether a statutory declaration is available or not.

Some things never change...

As always, to provide cover we will still need to check a few things. These include ensuring that there have been no disputes or contact with the owner of the access, that the property has been used for the same purpose for the last 12 months, and that access to the property is unobstructed and believed to have been available and in use for at least the last 12 months.
