You no longer need a mining search to obtain our Mining and Mineral Rights cover for existing residential and commercial properties.

This will make your mining and mineral rights enquiries quicker and easier, without affecting the level of cover your client will receive.

Rather than requesting a clear mining search, we will simply ask you if the property is in a built-up area, i.e. a village, town, or general urban area. The only exceptions are properties where there is a unilateral notice on the title, or in the unlikely event that the mining rights are less than 10 years old.
